Mazda automakers have gone as far as to confirm the new engine systems as well as a new “Large Architecture” which employs a rear-wheel drive system. Along with the new engine and drive systems, it seems that the automaker is looking to bring more luxury to drivers through the design of their cars.
The new design, which we’ve gotten glimpses of, is called the “Kodo Design” and features smooth, low profile lines, all of which give the vehicle an upscale attractiveness. Although these changes are set to happen over the next several years, we could start to see some of these new features as soon as the 2020 Mazda6.
